Web Design Information and Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for a website?

Website design for a one page website starts at £200. This particular type of website is ideal if you just need a web presence so that your customers can contact you. Each page you add to this costs £79 so a standard 5 page website optimised for Google would cost around £399. For larger custom built websites please call 07572 798121 for a more in-depth price.

What is included in the price?

For £399 you will get an effective optimized five page website. We will register a .co.uk domain name for you and host your site for you, manage and update it for a small monthly charge, which is based on the size of your site. Once this is done we will set up your email addresses and show you how to set them up on your own computer. Purobiz will research all the keywords for your business and incorporate them into your new website and once completed we will submit your website to directories and link pages to help get your website listed in search results.

What will you need from me to build a website?

We will need information about you and your company’s history. What products and services you offer. Which geographical areas you cover. Pictures and text that you want to include and that’s it.

How long will it take?

We can usually have your website up and running within one week and appearing in the search engines in four weeks or less. First page search engine results can take up to three months, but often much faster it all depends on the competition.

How Can I Pay?

For this limited time offer you can have a brand new eye catching website that will work for your business from just £200. You can pay securely online via PayPal using your debit or credit card. Other payment methods including cash or cheque are accepted but no work will commence on your new website until the deposit is paid.

What is a ‘keyword’?

A keyword is simply a word or phrase used when searching the internet for a product or service. Words like ‘Taxi’ or ‘Restaurant’. We will establish the most common locally searched ‘keyword’ used to find your business service, and incorporate this into the design of your website. This is known as  ‘SEO’ or ‘search engine optimisation’.

What is SEO?

Search engine optimization is a technique used by website designers to make your website search engine friendly, and get it found and is attributed to the words used on the site, and there relation to the search term used.  Incorporating common keywords into the fabric of your site will make an internet search engine notice your website when a search is done using your ‘keywords’ and list your website high in the results. Adding your site to Directories and building reciprocal links to other websites also helps get your website listed on page one of the search engine results.

What is a search engine?

Common search engines are Google, Yahoo! and Bing but there are many others out there that you may not have heard of. Most people in the UK  use Google because it consistently generates the best related results and besides this most other search engines are playing catch-up when compared to Google.

Do I have to pay extra for SEO?

No, at Purobiz, this is included in the price you pay. If you have a website already and want to know how to improve your search marketing and SEO call us for a consultation and we will be happy to help.

Why is SEO important?

There’s no point having a website if nobody visits it, or can’t find it. You could spend thousands on advertising in magazines and newspapers but wouldn’t you rather get visitors for free? If we get you in the free unpaid search results of the most popular search engines you won’t have to pay for advertising. Being listed in the search engines really makes a difference.
